Welcome to this week's edition of Angling Articles by Summit Tackle
This week’s edition is all about Carp Den Bosch 2026, and what a show it was. Fresh from Amsterdam, we’re hearing first-hand from Fred and Marcel, who were on the ground representing Summit Tackle and soaking up everything the event had to offer.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who popped over to the stand, whether it was for a chat, to compliment the products, or to treat yourself to something new. Your support, feedback, and enthusiasm are what make events like Carp Den Bosch 2026 so worthwhile, and it was great to catch up with so many familiar faces in Amsterdam.
A special mention has to go to Fred, who played an absolutely massive role throughout the whole show. From the hands-on setup, to keeping things running smoothly during the event, right through to the final pack-down. Efforts like that don’t go unnoticed, and we’re incredibly grateful.
Let’s get into it. 🎣

The time of year had arrived once again: Carp Den Bosch. And this year marked the 30th edition! On January 17th and 18th, Europe’s largest carp show was held at the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. As in previous years, our Summit Tackle stand was located in its familiar spot in Hall 1, stand 166.
After two days of setting up, the stand was ready for our visitors. This year, we featured two premieres: the SS-Bivvy peg (available individually and in a bundle of five) and the launch of the Black and White Teflon Bobbin Heads.
Saturday, January 17th
For today, 9,280 tickets had been sold in pre-sales, and eventually, 11,000 people visited the show. We had a very busy day at the stand with many positive conversations and, of course, strong sales. The first day was a huge success, with the Premier Aluminum Pod Kit and the Black Edition Bankware being particularly popular items.
At certain moments it was so busy that we didn't even have time to eat or drink, but after 4:30 PM, I finally had a chance to walk a round across the exhibition floor. It was overwhelming! There were more than 150 stands featuring boilies, bait boats, tents, you name it. All the major brands were present.
After restocking the stand at 6:00 PM and retrieving sold-out products from the warehouse, I was able to enjoy a well-deserved dinner at home by 7:30 PM. Afterwards, I relaxed on the sofa with my feet up before heading to bed early for another busy day tomorrow.
Sunday, January 18th
The alarm went off at 6:00 AM, and after a good breakfast and a cup of coffee, it was time to drive to Den Bosch. The doors of the Brabanthallen opened for exhibitors at 7:30 AM, which gave us time to tidy up the stand and discuss today’s strategy before the doors opened to the general public at 9:00 AM.
For today, 10,881 tickets had been sold in pre-sales, and by the end of the day, a total of 12,075 people had visited. This day was also a massive success. Many different rod pods were sold, and the bivvy pegs were a huge hit as well. Seeing many satisfied new customers, as well as many existing customers expanding their collections, ensured that Carp Den Bosch 2026 was a fantastically successful show for us.
On behalf of Summit Tackle and myself, I would like to thank everyone for visiting our stand, and we hope to see you at Carp Den Bosch 2027.
Maybe see you at the waterside! Tight lines.
Greets,
Fred van Dort

What an event! Carp den Bosch 2026 is now behind us – and we can look back on two thoroughly successful days at the trade fair. The excitement was palpable as soon as the hall doors opened: crowded aisles, lively conversations, and a great atmosphere among real carp anglers.
The visitor numbers were impressive – from loyal regular customers to many new faces who found their way to our stand. It is precisely this mix that makes a trade fair like this so special. There was shop talk, laughter, exchanges of experiences and, of course, lots of new tackle to examine.
As a company, we had a large selection of our products with us and were able to present numerous new products. The direct feedback from customers, the interested questions, and the positive responses showed us once again how valuable personal contact is at a trade fair. We will remember many great conversations – whether about fishing stories, setups, or simply our shared passion for carp fishing.
A big thank you goes to all the visitors who stopped by our booth. Your enthusiasm, loyalty, and interest mean a lot to us. We would also like to thank the organizers for an excellently organized trade fair and a platform that brings the scene together every year.
We are already looking forward to the next event—until then: tight lines and see you soon at the water!
