4.30 wake up call on the road 5.30 Oxford bound with linch hill fishery in mind, Christchurch was my water of choice Buzzing with joy thinking of the stunning carp that live in the lake, then coming down with a bang when turning up to the lake that was full bivvy City.
Quick call to Marsh over at orchid lake to be let down with a bang so linear Fisheries it is. I managed to set up camp on Hunts Corner peg 9 after carting all the tackle down the golden mile and setting up in pouring rain traps where set.
The fish we're definitely showing Boshin out and rolling over the baited spot.
Just settling down the eat my spag bold when my Middle Rod ripped off epic scrap
 Just as the 27lb linear went in the net boom right hand rod rips off straight in to another scrappy carp 21.10 happy days let's see what the nite brings.
1.35 wake up call which ending in a lovely scaly 16.8 
Going into Saturday feeling full of confidence in another bite. With a change in weather and the wind picking up, with the fish jumping on the wind and pushing up the lake.
With the wind and rain battering my Brolly all nite it was in to Sunday with no more carp 11.30 came  pack the tackel up an take on the long walk back to the van
But on the Plus side no rain and  3 carp on the bank.
